SIGNÉ team creates a first for New Zealand's hospitality trade

In response to the demands of the evolving New Zealand on-premise market, and after extensive consultation with the trade, Pernod Ricard New Zealand has created a specialist on-premise sales team named SIGNÉ (sin-yay). Aptly, SIGNÉ is French for ‘signature', a proof of unique identity, or a distinguishing mark. Because of this, only unique and luxurious products are represented in the SIGNÉ portfolio.

An evolution of the SIGNÉ concept first established in Australia, SIGNÉ in New Zealand will sell and promote Pernod Ricards comprehensive portfolio to Prestige accounts. The team is also responsible for an extensive range of limited availability luxury products like Havana Club Barrel Proof, Beefeeater 24 and our luxury champagnes, Perrier-Jouët and Champagne GH MUMM.

As customers are placing higher expectations on the quality and service delivery of their preferred beverage partners, PRNZ is offering a market leading service to the on-premise market . The objective is to create a strong working relationships with key customers and offer a more personalised service working with the trade to create compelling brand-led programs and develop rewarding commercial relationships alongside exciting consumer experiences.

The SIGNÉ team's vision is to offer a more personalised service at the top end of the market, working with the trade to offer the most compelling brand-led programs and to develop rewarding commercial relationships. Account managers will become a valuable knowledge resource for bars and restaurants, allowing a high-quality connection with consumers.

The team will initially focus on the main metropolitan centres of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, with specialist SIGNÉ account managers servicing a small number of highly influential customers.

SIGNÉ is a market first for New Zealand and provides further momentum to PRNZ's vision of leading the way in everything we do.
